Leak test unit PDT 0/1-50 RV
The test device has been designed for leak testing of backflow preventers up to a nominal size of 2”. The test specimen is clamped by a pneumatic sealing system. The leak test is carried out with the medium air. The test specimen is subjected to the test pressure and then disconnected from the pressure supply.
This is followed by a short stabilisation period. If the test specimen has a leak, the associated pressure drop is registered within the following test time and displayed as a leak. A pressure sensor with a minimum switching hysteresis of 300 mbar is used as sensor. It also features a digital pressure display and a switch point that can be changed using a button. A precision pressure regulator is used to ensure a stable test pressure.
