collaring module

In contrast to the serial production of fittings, in industrial pipework construction it is sometimes necessary to attach branches of different diameters at different angles to long pipes. With the neck module developed by ATG, these can be easily installed on pipes with a wall thickness of up to 5 mm.

Whether as a mobile module for construction sites for pipes up to 160 mm in diameter or as a stationary structure for even larger diameters, there are few limits to the number of branches that can be collared. This collaring module is ideal for recurring individual pieces or the seamless attachment of several collars to a longer pipe section.

The ATG collaring module is particularly characterised by the following features:
  • Easy handling thanks to simple tool change
  • Clear, parameterisable software
  • Environmentally friendly as there is no need for coolants and lubricants during collaring
  • Low heat input during forming
  • Thicker wall thicknesses after the collaring process
  • Collaring possible on pipes of any length

For the series production of larger pipe fittings, it is also possible to produce fully collared T- or cross-pieces by connecting the necessary milling modules.
